Embracing the "Paper Terrorist" Label with Pride
Sedona, AZ – August 13, 2025 –
My name is Matthew Tucciarone, and I'm running for Arizona House of Representatives in Legislative District 1. Apparently, I'm a "paper terrorist"—and I wear the title proudly, as it stems from defending my constitutional rights against overreach.In 2020, I resisted mask mandates, leading to arrests amid elite demands to "save lives." In 2021, I aided tourists harassed by Sedona PD officers Rodriguez, Willadsen, and Beers in a racketeering scheme with fabricated hit-and-run charges; I connected them to legal help, and their case was dismissed—yet those officers remain employed.
Briefly involved in the Sovereign movement, I learned its truths often lead to trouble and FBI watch lists, essentially a trap. This movement is now plaguing Yavapai County, especially Sedona, with misguided actions that undermine real rights. During a traffic stop for no license plate, the same three officers—Rodriguez, Williton, and Beers—who were caught in the scheme against the tourists came after me, assaulting me while I surrendered and filing false felony charges for resisting arrest and battery. Representing myself pro se, I used affidavits and body cam footage to prove my innocence, getting charges dismissed in superior court. They tried again, but the state attorney dropped it.
The media labeled me a "paper terrorist" for filing affidavits—like attorneys do—to assert rights, ignoring evidence and linking me to "dangerous" sovereigns testing the system without harm. Fine—my "paper terrorism" got the job done, dismissing charges I'd handle the same way today.
Today, threats escalate: ICE agents mask up for safety while enforcing laws, yet Democrats demand they unmask as leftist terrorists riot masked in cities. Woke leaders like our AG and Governor defend lawbreakers over citizens—hypocrisy I won't tolerate. Politics isn't a game; it's a duty to serve the people, not elite cliques. I am a Registered Republican, my loyalty is to America and Arizonans first. Men in overalls built this nation; men in suits are destroying it. As your representative, I'll answer to you, fight for sovereignty, and work with President Trump to restore our constitutional republic.

Let’s work together to protect this country, our sovereignty, our laws, our people. I will demonstrate leadership in the legislature, but I am not your leader – you as Americans do not answer to me or any other politician. As elected representatives, it’s our JOB to look out for you, your families, and our country. As an elected representative, I will always remember that I have to answer to you, the American people and the citizens of the great State of Arizona. I promise to never forget that and it’s time that the other elected representatives be reminded of the simple fact that we are here to represent the voice of the people, not to serve our own interests. Let’s work together with each other and President Trump to steer America back to being the Constitutional Republic she was intended to be
